Naked

The picture below was taken by Scott James in the summer of 2009. It is a modeling shot, but what makes it unique? There were 50 other models dressed in the same type of white tank top getting their picture taken as well. This is something you rarely see in the modeling industry: no makeup, no hair products, no Photoshop.

Many agencies outside Portland require a totally natural shot like this. They want to see the model beneath the makeup, the bare canvas. And who wouldn’t?

This is my “Jamie Lee Curtis” shot, only I’m not in my underwear. Please know that my first reaction upon seeing this photo—for the first time today—was to want to “fix” the picture. But resisted, I did.

And I love it!

Hi Kelly, I think you look great and have been reading your blogs for years. I found “you” …lol..that sounds so stalkerish through a mutual blogging friend on myspace. I have to admit, it is nice to see you writing about the personal side of yourself. I have enjoyed the blogs about your kids and family the most. I will be 48 in Sept and I dont know how old I feel right now. The only thing i know for sure about getting “older” is that all the cliches are true!

    Happy Birthday to you!

Great picture! Hard to take a “natural” picture but you rocked it.

I love the live app, that was very cool. This is the fist interactive ad I have seen designed for TV, looks like you guys are making great strides in new technology. I can’t wait to see what else its going to be used for and whether its going to be widely adopted. I always think of TV as being so passive in its interaction, but this changes that to some extent.

    Thanks for sharing!
